The gown is processed from start to finish by us inhouse. I send the box, I call you and talk to you. This is a husband and wife business so we take care of everything from start to finish. My wife plays a support role in the whole process . After we receive the gown, I inspect it, I call you to let you know about the gown. I spot it, clean it, process it, and I press it. ( some times my experienced presser presses it). I check the gown and take pictures of before and after and double check at the end to ensure that everything came out okay. I pack into the box and I ship it back you.

This is a business that I have learnt from my previous owner have since specialized in wedding gown cleaning, preserving and restoring and have been doing it for the last 10 years. In the past we were a member of WPCF – Wedding Professionals of Central Florida, East Orlando Chamber of Commerce, and Association of Bridal Consultants.

It may get done within 2-3 weeks sometimes. But we generally take about 3-4 weeks to process. Gown cleaning being so special, individualized and careful process which includes several steps starting with: careful inspection, stains treatment, spots removal, cleaning, drying, second careful inspection, respotting if spots or stains did not come out in the initial attempt, recleaning, redrying, third inspection, steaming, pressing, fourth and final inspection before packaging, putting the gown in the box and finally shipping.

As you can see it is a personalized and gown specific process. If the gown is big or large with many layers, sequins beads etc, can take extra, extra care and time.

Yes, we provide full service to our customers. Sometimes the gown may have a tear, rip, stitches undone, buttons missing etc. Before we process we will carefully inspect the condition of the gown. We will communicate with you what it would take to do what is necessary and how much it will cost.

We will not do anything without your approval, specific authorization and full knowledge.

Absolutely not. As mentioned earlier gown cleaning is a very involved process and we have a checklist to follow from start to finish including shipping.

  • Avoid any company that gives you a price quote by phone without seeing your Gown. Each Gown is individually made with a unique combination of design, fabrics and trims. Therefore, if a company has one price for all gowns, they are handling all gowns in the same way.
  • Avoid companies that do not use acid-free packaging materials. Regular cardboard boxes are flimsy, acid-laden, and can be the cause of yellowing and deterioration, rather than the long term protection of your Gown.
  • Avoid companies that say that if the seal is broken (and the box is opened), the warranty is void. In fact the gown should be checked periodically by refolding along new lines to prevent the formation of deep creases and permanent wrinkles.
  • Avoid companies, that tell you that the box is vacuum sealed. Only steel or heavy metal can be vacuum-sealed but not a cardboard box.
  • Avoid companies that tell you that the gown is immersed in a preserving solution. Nobody has yet found a fabric preserving solution.
  • If you are told that do not open the box otherwise the guarantee is void.
  • If you are told that the box is vacuum sealed. Only steel or heavy metal can be vacuum-sealed but not the cardboard box.
  • If you are told that the gown is immersed in a preserving solution. No body has yet found a fabric preserving solution.
  • If you are told that do not break the seal. All textiles, even synthetics need some air circulation, they need to breathe.
  • Don’t hang your gown because over prolonged time it will stretch and sag.
  • Don’t expose gowns to strong light or open air. Dust, dirt and sunlight cause deterioration.
  • Avoid all plastics, be it plastic viewing window, Plastic tends to collect dust and is conducive to the formation of mold and mildew.
